What this checker actually tells you
Every URL you paste is fetched with a realistic browser request. The checker reports the actual HTTP status that came back, follows redirects to their final destination, and separates pages that are genuinely gone from pages that simply refuse automated visitors.
That last distinction matters. Sites behind bot protection answer automated checks with 403, 429, or 999 even though they load fine for people. Most link checkers mislabel those as broken, which sends you chasing links that were never dead. Here they are labelled blocked, so you know to verify them in a browser instead of deleting them.

- The page answered with a 2xx status and loads fine.
- broken
- The page answered 404, 410, or another 4xx. The link is dead and worth fixing.
- blocked
- The site answered 401, 403, 429, or 999 to the automated check. The page is probably fine, verify it in a browser.
- redirected
- The URL forwards to another address. Fine when it lands on a live page, and the final URL is shown so you can update the link.
- server
- The server answered with a 5xx error. Often temporary, check again later.
- dns
- The domain doesn't resolve at all. It may have expired or be misspelled.
- timeout
- No response within 8 seconds. The server is slow or unreachable.
Frequently asked questions
How many URLs can I check at once?
Up to 500 per run. Behind the scenes the checker splits your list into batches of 8 and runs a few batches at a time, streaming results in as each batch finishes.
Why does another tool say this link is broken but this one says blocked?
Many sites run bot protection that answers automated requests with 403, 429, or 999 even though the page loads fine in a browser. Most checkers report those as broken. This one labels them blocked instead, because the page exists, it just refuses automated visitors. Open it in a browser to confirm.
Do you store the URLs I paste?
No. I don't store anything. The checks run, the results go to your screen, and the URLs are forgotten. Nothing is logged and nothing is kept.
Can it crawl my whole site?

What do the status codes mean?
2xx means the page loads fine. 3xx means the URL redirects, which is usually fine as long as it lands on a live page. 404 and 410 mean the page is gone. 5xx means the server had trouble answering, which may be temporary.
